The debut single, “Where Were You”, blends melancholic folk and cosmic Americana into a dreamlike ambient track that drifts between memory and new horizons. Written in a London flat, recorded on Funen’s southern coast, and mixed in rural Jutland, the song carries a sense of journey and place.

With vocals and acoustic guitar captured in a single take, the track radiates a raw, intimate energy. Lap steel, single piano notes, and synth layers build a hypnotic, slow-burning atmosphere — inviting listeners to pause, reflect, and drift.

Lyrically, the verses ask the quiet, recurring question:

 “Where were you?” — a nod to fleeting, fragile moments of youth.

 The chorus looks forward:

 “Tomorrow is a ticket we travel on.”

On this track, Anders Dal collaborates with Moogie Johnson (Munck//Johnson, Esther Maria & The Song Horse, From Sarah, Ring Them Bells) on lap steel, synth and piano, and Nicolai Schmith (Burning Velvet) on electric guitar.
